Courses

IFIN

• We launched the Independent Federated Intelligence Network (IFIN) in April 2026 and already have some great community contributions and new members!
  • IFIN’s mission is empower defenders by sharing timely, actionable threat intelligence analysis and good practices. Check out Taggart’s post “What Do You See?”
  • The public launch took lots of planning and work by many awesome volunteers. Thanks so much everyone!
  • IFIN is a public benefit corporation (California) seeking tax-exempt status.
  • I’m one of the founding directors of the IFIN organisation and am learning many new things: non-profit + start-up :O

T’HY’LA

• Helping with meetings and reports for our global chapter of the Trek Federation (IFT) a community service and charitable giving organisation based on the ideals originally shared by Gene Roddenbury in the Star Trek television programme. Moved

• Moved myself and one cat across the country to the Pacific Northwest (more people and cat on the way)
• New place and people are great but can’t recommend moving, yuck
• Still looking for a new home for the blog
